The Transeuropa Recording Studios adventure started in 1987 from the ashes of the TKS, mythic project studio, gravity pole of lot of the eighties new wave local bands.
Together with Andrea Lesmo, Mauro Tavella and Andrea Costa the activity was moved from the fascinous but a little unhealth enviroment of the TKS to the more spacious and functional rooms of the Transeuropa.
Our goal was to build a Room with a strong personality. With it’s own sound and the primal target to realize in-house music productions.
A Studio closer to the “Project Studio” philosophy, thus maintaining the compatibility with the professional’s standards: analog on 2 inches and digital on ProTools.
The time demonstrated that this was a lucky choice, and in parallel with the growth of many local bands that realized at Transeuropa their projects, we started to collaborate with some of the most notorious Italian Pop Artist.
In 2002 we had the only European (Continental) Nomination for the Best Pop Vocal Album in the 45th Grammy Award Entry List.
The development of our activities, collided with some big mutation of the music-biz, took us to the decision to modify our assets. So we opened the TRANSEUROPA HOME, a new Residential Recording Studio located on the hills that surrounds Torino. This facility, that can offer accomodation for up to 6 people, is mainly dedicated to full album production, from recordings to mixes, providing a large selection of equipments, musical instruments and microphones.
The ‘old’ TRANSEUROPA STUDIO remains as a more agile structure, oriented to music production, but also to pre-production, programming, rehersal, miltimedia and ‘commercials’ productions.
